Fishing Report for Week of July 21, 2010
Amistad  
Water murky; 85 degrees; 7.13' high. Black bass are good on topwaters, crankbaits, swimbaits, jigs, and soft plastics. Striped bass are fair
on crankbaits, buzzbaits, trick worms, Senkos, and spinnerbaits. White bass are slow. Striped bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Catfish are
fair on cheesebait, shrimp, and nightcrawlers over baited holes. Yellow catfish are fair on trotlines and droplines baited with live perch
around rocks. Everyone in the boat must have a Mexico fishing license (if fishing the Mexico side) whether fishing or not.
Sam Rayburn
Water lightly stained; 87 degrees; 3.24' low. Black bass are good on minnows and dark soft plastic worms. White bass are fair on silver and
gold spoons. Crappie are good on minnows and blue tube jigs over baited holes in 20 – 25 feet. Bream are fair on nightcrawlers. Catfish
are very good on trotlines baited with live bait and cut bait.
Toledo Bend
Water stained; 87 degrees; 3.82' low. Black bass are fair on redbug soft plastic worms. Striped bass are fair on minnows and silver striper
jigs. White bass are good on spoons in the river. Crappie are fair on minnows at night. Bream are good on crickets and nightcrawlers.
Channel and blue catfish are good on trotlines baited with live bait, stinkbait, livers, and hearts in 30 feet. Yellow catfish are slow.
